- The bear and bees model is generally attributed to Starr, Fellows & Co or Starr, Fellows & Hoffman, NYC.
- Motif on these prism rings are reminiscent of the best of Boston girandole manufacture.
- This rich bright two-tone gilt surface is of the best highest cost at time of production. And this set has the best retention of the original luster and condition on the surface considering the hundreds that I have handled in past many years. Traditionally this desirable surface has been called “lemon gold” by antiquers.
