Circa 1800 Federal period Neoclassical corner cupboard, cabinet, probably Conn River Valley, solid cherry, tiger maple frieze panel, large cove and ovolo molded crest, lower frieze bead and waist molding, bead case edge molding around both sets of doors, sixteen light double upper doors, original brass H-hinges, unusual horizontal double-paneled lower doors, tapered bracket feet, three serpentine front and recessed upper shelves, old salmon color interior paint. Connecticut River Valley.
88.5” tall, 50.5” wide, 19” deep. From wall corner – 36” to cupboard side.
Condition – excellent later surface, solid and structurally original, original hinges, period wavy glass. 1349
