Circa 1890 floor model brass tea kettle and warmer on hotel wrought iron stand, teapot in great Japanesque form or early Arts & Crafts period, possibly Christopher Dresser / Benham & Froud.
- Hand-wrought iron stand, well-crafted hot twists, scrolls ending with hammer-flattened wide ends and each connected with wrought bands, wrought teapot holder on swivel.
- Solid brass teapot and matching burner, original to stand, spun body, lid and burner, hand-hammered well shaped spout, cast scrolled brackets with turned wood handle and finial, tinned interior. Brand - teapot.
45” tall, 19” across scrolled feet. Teapot – 9” dia, 11” back to spout.
Condition – excellent, no breaks or repairs on teapot or stand, spotted interior tinned surface. 1378
Provenance - from an estate in St Augustine, Florida and purportedly used in a local hotel.
