Circa 1870 porcelain German or Vieux Paris covered tureen with Bavaria underplate,
Tureen- obscure blue underglaze mark, script in round, appears letter with crown in center.
Under Tray- “Z.S.& Co / Bavaria / Irene”, green mark.
Ribbed / shaped body, floral / bud finial, handpainted floral panels of roses, tulips, red poppies, etc, pink ground, gold gilt scrollwork, lattice and trim, open handles on bowl and plate. Brand - Old Paris.

Tureen - 8.25” tall, 8.25” across handles.
Underplate - 11.5” across handles, 10.75” dia.
Condition – excellent, no chips, cracks or repairs, shows nominal wear to gilt.       1552

- Tray - ZS&Co, Zeh, Scherzer & Co, green mark (1880-1918), Bavaria. A renowned high quality porcelain manufacturer. “Irene” is plate design series.
