Circa 1880s kerosene LAMP, - (lift-off blue font, blue base & original colorless dome), - Adams & Co, - a rarer blue glass example, - Adams Temple, aka Applesauce stand lamp, - “Patented March 20 1883, July 25 1882” raised letters around base shoulder, - a rarer blue glass example,  Font - Gothic arch paneled lift-off font, - No 2 collar w/ shoulder plate. Stand - four stop-reeded columns with connecting arches, - fluting around base, - flared and ruffled top. Accessory - original clear domed centerpiece fitted in base. 13” to top of collar, 7.25” dia. Condition – excellent, no chips, cracks or repairs.          2207 - Adams & Company, Pittsburgh, PA (1861-1891). This “Temple” lamp introduced 1881 and following patent date improvements.
