Four (two pr) circa 1860 Rococo triple arm girandole mantle set, solid brass, Henry Hooper & Co, Boston, finely cast grape cluster, vine and leaf, spray of leaves below candle socket, separate finely cast bobeches of grapes and leaves, solid brass double step base with classical leaf motif. Brand - girandole.
16” wide, 15” tall, Base-7.5” wide, 3.5” deep.
Condition – excellent, appears to be original finish, includes all six original bobeches. 417h / 1581
- This is the ultimate in 19th century Rococo Revival girandoles vintage (grapes) design as well as finest in detail. This model is shown in Henry N Hooper & Co 1858 catalog as one of their production models. This three light fixture was sold as number 581 in that catalog.
