Circa 1870 Rococo secretary desk, attributed manufacturer is M&R, Mitchell and Rammelsburg, Cincinnati, OH, solid, flame and figured walnut, maple shaded interior, carved scrolled cartouche on desk lid, scroll carving on drawers, frieze and crest, tall turned finials, naturalistic twig and leaf carved pulls, carved escutcheons, molded drawers and around glass doors, two adjustable shelves, original wavy glass in doors.

8’ 10” tall (107”), 43” wide, 20” deep. 31” writing surface.
Condition – excellent, restored original finish, good original oilcloth writing surface with blemishes / use, two shelves, original wavy glass- one with approx 12" crack (see photo).    1874
