- (shell feet, scrolled legs, floral garlands),
- locking pin to hinge and back locking pin,
- well-chaised shells, rocaille, plain and lattice medallions encircling middle,
- among chased various rose and foliage garlands surrounding body,
- chased floral, lattice medallions on lids,
- well-cast floral/foliage finial,
- handles in multiple scrolls,
- heat insulated handle,
- flared pedestal base,
- scalloped rims.
Monogram:
- no monogram on front,
- reverse has five-point star sitting on chain.

- Stephen Smith, 35 King St, Covent Garden, London (1865-1884): Traded as S Smith & Son (Stephen Smith, Sr & Stephen Smith, Jr). (prior yrs- Stephen Smith partnered with William Nicholson until Nicholson retired in 1865.
- Provenance - a local estate, purchased 5/6/1956 from Henry Levine, 1 Castle St, Norwich, UK.
- This warming coffee /tea pot was produced / patterned to match a tea / coffee set produced by Stephen Smith in 1864. I am offering the separate silver coffee pot and tea pot in my other listings.
