Early Rococo Sheffield plate covered soup tureen, c 1830, William IV period, castle in shield mark, well detailed robust acanthus leaf/flower scroll feet, beaded oval border (gadrooned), scrolled leaf handles, naturalistic scrolled vine/leaf/flower handle, “B” monogram on lid, silver on copper.

15” long, 9.5” wide, 8.75” tall,    8.5 pounds.

- This is possibly an Exeter, England manufacturer, due to the castle mark being similar to Exter plate markings?
