Hallmarks:
“lion- sterling silver / lion mask- London / lady- Victorian / i- 1864 / S.S- Stephen Smith”,
- well-chaised shells, rocaille, plain and lattice medallions encircling middle,
- among chased various rose and foliage garlands surrounding body,
- chased floral, lattice medallions on lids,
- well-cast floral/foliage finial,
- handles in multiple scrolls,
- heat insulaters,
- flared pedestal base,
- scalloped rims.
Monogram:
- no monogram on front,
- reverse has five-point star sitting on chain.
